Made Bagus Cafe in Jimbaran

Walk in and you'll be seated on the beach! Wonderful and very accomodating service. Food was presented beautifully and was extremely mouth-watering! Must try fish and prawn!

We enjoyed ourselves to the max. This cafe is less touristy and at the end of the beach. It has like 16 tables(which is a lot less than the rest) and so you have a much more personal experience. We loved our diner here and have a lot of pleasant memories.

Visited another restaurant on Jimbaran Beach years ago and was turned off by the whole experience as the food was terrible. I’m glad I gave Made Bagus a chance this time as the food was delicious. Ordered package D and liked every item. The snapper (fish) was especially good. Do try it!

Nice seafood offered in pakages (fish, lobster, clams... ) with different prices. Taxes not included.It is a good plan to have dinner on the beach sand with candles during sunset (remember! The sunset only can be seen at this bay completely from june to august!)Nice service too.

Incredible, loved it. I had a 300g Lobster, Red Snapper and a Crab. Arguably one of the most delecious seafood experiences ever. The staff were friendly and courteous to our needs as my partner is vegetarian. The view was spectacular as well. I highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance.

Nice ambience. Food is ok and reasonably priced. We ordered set c (2 pax) with lobster at 550k for 3 adults and 1 child. We could barely finish the food. Ok to try.

Gorgeous place to have dinner at sunset. Food was one of my favorite meals in Bali. It’s quite the drive away from Seminyak but worth it. We paid about 650k for a set menu. Service was lovely too. The waiter noticed that we didn’t finish the soup and so he removed it off the bill. Very thoughtful.

Finally we found a place that offers real delicious sea food! Cooked with dry coconut fire 🥥 🔥 this dishes gived to us a unique experience with flavor, seasoning and lanscape. This is Bali!!! Food was not good. The package comes with some seafood and crab. Crab was small and had little meat. Was not cook properly. Woke up next day with bad stomach. Nice view only.

Ended up at this place after reading a few blogger reviews. This is a great place with tasty food.Contrary to the people who go for their packages (too much food in my opinion), ended up going for some mahi mahi, clams and squid. Food came quickly and it was very well priced.As usual, never go to these places from the beach. You must enter from the actual front, pic your food, make sure they weigh this accurately and compare it with what you get served.

Ordered Seafood package B. Enough food for two @ good price. Sandflies a problem when food is served. View is spetacular!! were amazed how quickly the beachfront turned into a very very busy beach. Taxi mafia very rude!

Very well made bbq food at a place with an awesome atmosphere and view. Pro tip: Go before sunset at about 6pm and have an awesome meal with the setting sun.

Last trip to Bali we ate here 3 nights in a row and loved it. Just as good tonight. Chose our lobster, prawns and red snapper. Have sat at the front but up closer to restaurant you have a better view. Delicious and fresh food, friendly staff and not very smoky from the kitchen

Food is unbelievable! Much better value than other restaurants up the beach and better quality to. Be sure to stop off here if your looking for amazing seafood. You won't be disappointed 😁

Lovely food and service with reasonable prices!We paid 650k rupiah for a set for 2 persons that included lobster, prawns, clams, fish and squid. It came with drinks, rice and vegetables. Their fish was outstanding. I’d recommend to go around 530pm to catch the sunset while having dinner!

Dinner was mediocre. Paid over 1000,000 rp for 3 people which was a bit more than what we expected. They also charged tax, service fees and extra tax if paid by card.

We had special package which had white snapper, tiger prawns, lobster and two pints of beer served with rice, greens and fruit (Serves 2). All this for IDR 4,50,000 (USD 32 approx) + 10% tax.The food was great... Although the beach disappointed us. It was stinky.Beautiful sunset though!

Very delicious seafood! Best food we had in Bali! I would recommend this place to everyone! Don't waste your time searching, just come here and enjoy! The staff is very nice and service is awesome! We ate here 4 times on our trip to Kuta and it's a 30 minute trip to this place.

Fresh seafood with great setting. And the price was very reasonable! The only thing I didn't like was the crab. My city made way better crab. But other than that, it was perfect all in all.

Phenomenal dinner on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal while watching the sunset at jimbaran beach. We shares the set for 2 at 450k including fresh fish, lobster and prawns. The portion was generous and everything was so tasty and well cooked. The flavor on the grilled snapper was amazing. The set came with a side of white rice, some greens and nuts to start. A great meal at a great price for the experience and quality of food.

We had a grilled seafood feast (package A) while the sun was setting. A true memorable experience in Bali. The food was as tasty as the sunset was beautiful. A table on the sand facing the sea enjoying freshly caught high quality seafood. Highly recommended!

2nd time I've been to Jimbaran beach for seafood and this one is far better than our first experience.Plentiful seafood from the set menus and the sauces was beautiful.

So if you’re tired of the bogan rat race and teeny bopper bars and Instagram pop cool kids paradise of Seminyak and your feeling like some feet in the sand, wave crashing old school Bali, head to Jimbaran! I’d recommend staying here somewhere as well. Beach is way nicer and less sketchy drunk aussies here. Seems to be more people looking for surf lessons, great seafood, more village feel and lifestyle.Between 2 of us We had a whole fresh crayfish, a large crab, 8 clams, 8 large prawns, whole fish and 6 squid skewers (all cooked on coconut coals) plus a glass each of white wine for $65. Amazing fruit followed (complementary).You can eat well here for a lot less but we wanted to try everything. We held back in Kuta and Seminyak because of the prices and crowds and I’m glad we did!Make sure you tip your waiter!! (If they are 👍 nice)

Came here because of the good reviews but was utterly dissapointed. Place smelled bad, there was water all over the floors and the food just wasn't great. All the seafood was so over cooked and dry, which was attempted to covered up with heaps.of garlic sauce but didn't help. Also they did not listen to our requests not to have any tomato or chili sauce added, just simple grilled food. Also, most of the food came out only Luke warm... which means it was probably all precooked and attempted to be reheated quickly.

Mostly disappointed. The food is average at most. Came in too fast and not warm. Fish prices were displayed per kg but we paid exactly one kg for a way smaller one. It would be ok overall if it hadn't been for the very poor treatment we got. The very second we finished our last bite we were rushed by a waiter to pay and leave immediately.

Only 2 stars because food was tasty. Waitress tried to cheat us. Package A coated 650k rupiah, when we received a bill there was 700k rupiah +10% of tax. She told us that lobster is expensive so this is a reason why we have to pay more! Sorry? Packed A included a lobster so why we have to pay more? When I said that I won't pay that, she inmidietly changed a bill. I saw that she started to be afraid that I will ask for a manager. What's more, portions were very small. Definitely not recommended

Not fancy in terms of decor by any means, however, we were startled at the quality of the food! The grilled fish in our "package" was absolutely delicious, and the side order of calamari/fries was likewise fantastic and arrived too hot to eat. An amazing value as well. Don't miss it.

Delicious seafood on the beach. It looks quiet from the car park but most of the cafes were busy. The king prawns with garlic were beautiful and so was the whole red snapper. Only about 750k rupiah for 3 people with beer. I’d definitely return.

Good value seafood. Great location for sunset as like other competitors. Lots of flies come out around sunset, but do go once it becomes dark m.

This is my second time here. The seafood is fresh and the taste is awesome.Didn't gave 5 stars because of the price of the crabs. It's clearly like 300g but i was charged half a kilo

Knowing we would want to eat somewhere along this beach I picked this place because I read good things about it on someone’s Bali blog. I can’t compare it to other restaurants in the same strip of beach because this is the only one we went to, but I have to say it was very busy (the staff kept having to put more tables on the sand), while looking along the beach the other similar places were largely rather empty. A good sign.The owners/staff were terrific — welcoming, friendly, smiling and attentive to customer needs. We ordered one of their sharing menus (crab, prawns, fish, clams, satay squid and vegetables). And it was damn good, too. Very fresh-tasting, perfectly cooked, good sauces, and good chilli dips. They clearly know what they are doing when it comes to seafood! And the bill including a beer and a coconut was under IDR500,000 — excellent value we thought. Good for them. They deserve the success.I’d go back to the same place like a shot if I’m in Jimbaran again.

We got the table right next to the beach, the atmosphere was very good and the food was excellent. Our food arrived very quickly and my favourite was the clam, they were truly amazing. My friend enjoyed the fish and the squid satay very much. Would recommend to everyone.

Reasonable price, no need to queue for long, amazing and fresh seafood.
